brass needle valves
View Tameson's selection of brass needle valves. Needle valves are used to accurately control the flow rates of clean gasses or fluids. They can be used as shut-off valves, but also have gradual and smooth adjustments to control the flow rate. They are manually operated and generally used for relatively low flow rates. Brass needle valves are suitable for hydraulic systems, drinking water, high temperature applications, and gas piping. They are suitable for neutral and non-corrosive media, with the most common implementation being for drinking water applications. However, they should not be used for salt water (seawater), distilled water, acids, or chlorides. More information can be found in our Technical Information Center.
