Select and buy a manual 2-way stainless steel ball valve online for your application. The 2-way stainless steel ball valve is one of the most robust and durable valves on the market. It has a stainless steel housing and 2 ports, an inlet and an outlet, and a ball with a bore in it. They are operated by a manual hand lever to turn the ball 90 degrees, which is why they are often called quarter turn ball valves or shut off valves. Simply turn the handle perpendicular to the pipe to close it and parallel to open it. The stainless steel housing makes it suitable for almost any medium and it is highly wear, temperature, and pressure resistant. Their threaded connection make them easy to install.
Other main selection criteria for manual 2-way stainless steel ball valves include: connection size, seal material, pressure rating, and temperature rating.
- Stainless steel mini ball valves are ideal for applications with limited installation space as they save space, weight, and cost.
- ISO-top 3-piece stainless steel ball valves are ready to be installed with an electric or pneumatic actuator due to the ISO 5211 top. They can be taken apart into 3-pieces for thorough cleaning.
- 2-piece stainless steel ball valves come apart easily for cleaning, making them ideal for aggressive and corrosive media.
- Stainless steel ball valves with approvals for gas and oxygen applications. These valves conform to DVGW and/or the DIN-EN 331 standard.
- Stainless steel ball valve faucets drain or discharge your system.
Stainless steel housing
The ball valve stainless steel housing makes them very durable and often a good housing material choice as it generally has a very good overall chemical resistance to almost any medium. The material is highly wear, temperature, and pressure resistant. Stainless ball valves are not suitable for hydro-chloric acids, chlorides, bromine, and household bleach. Swimming pool water has a low concentration of chlorides and therefore usually stainless steel 316 can still be used. Stainless steel ball valve's temperature and pressure rating is typically limited by the seal material's limits.
